All this program does is sends "join" packets to localhost, and detects if the game is full or has already started. It doesn't send anything directly to battle.net, though I should probably try to figure out a way for it to detect if you're in a ladder game in order to make it "safer" for people to use. It doesn't write anything to WC3's memory space, and all it reads is your port address and host counter. Feel free to take a look at the source code.

In future versions, I should probably put some warnings about using it in melee games if I can't figure out how to include the functionality above.

I can't host but... I see nothing wrong with this program, at all. Simple as that. It doesn't modify game play and you don't make retarded mistakes such as kick people by accident and you don't die of a wrist cramp.

Stuff like spoofer are the bad ones... (trivial but hey)

Banlist has a huge effect.
It modifies who can play in your games or not.
That's a shitton more impact than a refresher.

I've been testing it on Vista for a bit now, and I can confirm that it does not function properly on Windows Vista.

The UI works fine and all, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on Warcraft 3 at all.

This is cool. but, it would be cool to set it to a refresh of like .1 seconds and spam the game list! (and the game's chat). But on a more serious note: Sentry how did you 'set' what the name of the refresher thing was? I saw a huge list of bytes, but i didn't make any sense of them.

BUG BUG!

At least in the version i compile it gives me a bug. When i host it the max number of 'refreshers' that would join was 10. So if it was just me it would leave slot 12 open. On another note the compiler (ms C# 2005 express) would complain about cross-thread commands when you tried to update the text in the window, so i had to comment that out. And how did you figure out the bytes that needed to be sent to cause it register that a person had joined? how might i do this?

I'll rephrase: Blizzard doesn't care about custom games. They have stated before they don't monitor custom games. If you use programs like this in melee ladder you're retarded.
