vjass no longer seems to work correctly after 1.22
I can save my mapscript without any compile errors, but when I'm about to load the map in warcraft 3, it goes back to the "create game" screen. No loading ever starts.

Oh and the autotest doesn't seem to work anymore.
Looking forward to a fix =)

How do you declare variables for common gui triggers ?

Well, vJASS was mainly developed having advance JASS and not GUI in mind, I think, but I am not the right guy to answer that =S

vJass, ok... but what about Newgen Editor ?
You can't tell me that maps are made with codes. Code is just for systems, advance things or just easier way to do things etc... The basic game triggers are made with gui. So, doing the gui users fucked, what's the point ?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong;

But what you call GUI is read as code by the game, it is just shown differently so those who don't know how to read what it's reading can still write triggers. Hence you can convert the GUI into "custom script". So your basic triggers are still made with code, that is displayed with a general user interface (GUI). And thus why writing your own code can be more powerful, since the GUI doesn't provide all the functions that can be actually used (the pull down list would be much bigger then).

lol i know ^^. That's why i'm not talking about jass but code and gui, because both are jass.
Vexorian : first example, the quest variables. I can open this wreckage for example or any others map and give you 2000 examples... but you are in evil mode, so nevermind.

Yeah, seriously, I have to back Abriko on this. What is with the hostility? All he did was let you know about a bug. In my opinion the mannerisms of some of the staff is completely uncalled for sometimes. There is a difference between when someone asks for criticism of their map, and you guys are brutally honest (fair and helpful), and when someone asks for help or makes a comment, and you tell them to get ****ed or demean them for not knowing the answer. Not all the staff is like this; Pyrogasm in particular is awesome in his willingness to help and positive attitude. But Vex, when you or Griffen or Dusk gives such a half-baked answer, you hurt the community. If the variable editor is a low priority of the JNGP team, then just say that, don't be such a jerk about it.
