Its not always the best solution, but you can translate via Google Translator.
It dosent always come out perfect, but it gets the message across.

@shadowstrike: I'd rather the languages i listed are translated first. If its this much hassle just to update those i dont want to have to add new ones if the current ones can't be maintained.

I will be releasing AMAI2.50 likely with the languages unfinished some time soon. Just got a lil bug to sort out first and then rounding up stuff like readme's, a few final play tests etc. For the missing translations of strategies, they are going to be left in english until someone does them.

Dude I'm from Indonesia and soon will be going back there after my study here in the US is finished. Soon, very soon, I'll release my own melee A.I (pre-release stage) :p

Anyway not to get too off topic, Strategy Master, I think you shouldn't release those incomplete ones (just disable them) until awhile. I dunno but it feels un-professional you know.

Well chinese i wont include in release as will need doing from scratch, but the other languages is now just about 3-4 strategies missing translation (did some clever re-ordering things so whole strategy.txt file dosn't need translating anymore) so i'll release those anyway as its only a few missing and i'll update once i get those few lines translated.

lol unprofessional it may be but alot of people would rather play in there language not something else. I'm hoping someone who plays in that language will decide to translate the remaining strategies missing in that language as they may not visit the forums.

Plus ROC versions of language are totally fixed now so need to include them. They had been messed up in certain languages due to TFT no longer had same strategies and yeah its some annoying stuff which took me ages :P

Hi Strategy Master,

I suppose I can do a bit Mandarin translation for this project. I was reading the old Chinese translation in Common.ai (not sure it's the right file or not), they are just "unreadable", namely, they are garbled.

Different Chinese use different way to encode its characters, for example, Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) used in mainland China uses GB2312 or GBK, and in Hong Kong or Taiwan (Traditional Chinese )they use HK or BIG5, but I guess unicode UTF-8 can work for all of them.

My computer use Simplified Chinese as the default encoding to decode UTF-8 characters, since common.ai cannot be opened properly, I suppose those chinese characters are either not Simplified Chinese or the file is not encoded as UTF-8.

I strongly divide Chinese in this project into two individual parts, Simplified and Traditional as they are not compatible at all. I can help to do the simplified part if you don't mind.

The differences between Simplified and Traditional Chinese is as close as British and American English, the only HUGE difference is they use different way to encode characters.. it's quite stupid, isn't it?

firen = madirin translator. Strategy master wants you to translate the whole english language folder. Use the words one (Written similar to english) Is the easiest

I was trying to download 2.50DE, but for some reason the downloading always got interrupted after reaching 60%.. tried both firefox and IE, along with a few download managers.. still have no luck..it's really weird..

If possible, can anyone send a copy of that to firen@hotmail.co.uk
