what sound is from what film/game/..

I don't know if a thread like this exists, but I saw some references in a thread Mentor started (wow, cool..). Here you can put sounds from the game and it's reference. Maybe some people can use this sounds in their maps (especially Monty Python sounds).

* footmanpissed4.wav : "it's only a fleshwound" --> Monty Python and the Holy Grail

* gryphonriderpissed4.wav: "this warhammer costs 40K" --> Reference to Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K

* knightpissed1.wav: "my favorite color is blue.. no.. yellooooow" --> Monty Python!!

* knightpissed5.wav: "I never say 'ni'" --> Monty Python (again and again :) )

* peasantpissed2.wav: "We found a witch! May we burn her?" --> MP

* priestpissed5.wav: "I have been chosen by the big metal hand in the sky" --> Toy Story, the claaaaaaaw

*druidofthetalonpissed6.wav: "talon, druid of the talon" --> Bond, James Bond

*dryadpissed2.wav: "do'h!" --> Homer Simpson of course

* hippogryphwithriderpissed4.wav: "the hippogryph is an amazing creature, rarely seen outside the wild. The tricky thing about hippogryphs is their incredible jaw strength. One terrible (*couldn't translate this*) "..." of their beaks can rip a beast apart in seconds. Let's see what happens when I stick my hand *bite* aah!" --> clearly a parody to national geographic channel :)

i think he's talking about the human hand cursor, not something from toy story?

well actually it was from toy story, at the part where that weird space toy was in that rocket thingy n there was all them weird green 3 eyed alien.. things, on eof them when they got pcked up by the metal hand thing "The Claw" they sayed that

there is also one of the peasant voices where he says
"you're the king? well i didnt vote for you." from Monty Python as well I think.

the bandit also says something from a movie...but i forget what and which

He says "And this one time, at bandit camp..." which is a parody of American Pie.

He also says "Rover... wanderer.... nomad.... vagabond.... call me what you will." which is a line from "Metallica - Wherever I May Roam".

The Centaur also hums "Oh, I wish I were a baby bumble bee."

EDIT: The Farseer says SEVERAL responses that are from a magic eightball.

The Troll Witch Doctor's final pissed sound is a recording of an Iron Troll competition, which is a parody, of course, of the Iron Chef.

The bandit also says "I don't want Fop! I'm a Dapper Dan man, dammit!" This is from the excellent movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou . By the way, Dapper Dan is a brand of hair gel the main character uses.

The footman says "Grab you sword and fight the Horde!" and "Uncle Lothar wants you!" which are plays on "Grab your gun and fight the Hun!" and "Uncle Sam wants you!", recruiting posters from World War I.

Some of the lines, like "stop poking me!" were in Warcraft 1.

EDIT: Also, play DemonHunterPissed5 backwards...it explains where a lot of the names came from :ggani:

Don't you mean when you play it forwards it sound like an elvish language? Because you have to play it backwards to hear I love green trees.

And I'm just saying that it says a lot about the way they make names for places and characters...I didn't mean it that literaly...
