guess =P

just select the mdx file and export the obj. Then use milkshape to import the obj file and edit to your wishes. After that, save the obj file and be certain to open it with notepad.

in Notepad, remove all lines except the ones with the Vertice Coordinates data (Vt, , normals, descriptions can all be deleted!). This way, the program will only import vertice changes (it is limited)and no cuase errors. Just import the saved obj in the mdx and save it what ever you want it to be

(note, milkshape users are limited only to modifying models like changing shapes etc. Deleting polygons and vertices is out of question; you need max or gmax for that)
