which palette generation method are you using? octrees or median cut? or do you use a premade palette? It would be nice to know, since I feel the color quality is a bit lacking.

Octree, of course, median cut method generates quite inaccurate images.

well median cut is better in some specific cases (high amount of highlights). However, octrees are almost always better. thanks for telling, keep up the nice work ;). Last edited by BlinkBoy : 09-14-2009 at 08:07 AM. |

Attached BLP is valid in game and in WC3Viewer, but not in your tool. Generated with PitzerMike's TextSplat font generation tool.
Also, awesome tool, other than this bug. |

The problem is in that the size, specified in BLP header (1024), doesn't match with real image size (2048). Thanks for reporting, it will be fixed in the next version.

That's quite untypical. How about screenshot of the corresponding folder and the Mass Converter window?

I know it's not an issue of file format, since doing each one manually seems to work. I examined each and every file and their formats were uniform.
Note that I've redacted certain parts of the directory only because My Lady has her name as her user profile on this computer. |

Caught the problem. The extensions of some files are written in UPPER case. Extension is not transformed to lower case in mass converter handler. Thanks, fixed now.

can you add something for generating images out of files (you know, the transparent 1px border thingy)?

Can you add an option to the mass converter to maintain the directory structure of the source directory?

Also, due to new resizing method implied in the library, I decided to compare compressed BLPs saved with v0.3.2 and v0.4.0, got following results (resaved BloodElf-SpellThief.blp texture): Table:
Not bad, at all. |

It appears that some .blps generated appear broken in war3 Model Editor but don't in Blp Lab.
I think its something to do with palatted BLPs, but it could be something else. I attached the .blps which are "faulty" |
