Obscurity, the Art
|
Can't really find these and I've spent 20 minutes looking. They're probably hidden somewhere I wouldn't know to look, hence my asking here. I need to know the paths for the opening of dungeon doors and closing of them. I know the sounds exist, just not sure where they are.

If you're using the Sound Editor:
__________________Sounds > Internal > Doodads > Cinematic > DungeonLever > Lever.wav The lever sound. Could be used for a smaller door, a cabinet or a chest (kinda loud though). Sounds > Internal > Sound > Ambient > DoodadEffects > DoorSlam1.wac A small (house) door closing. > GateEpicBash.wav I think this could be (or is) played when a gate dies. > GateOpen.wav Used for the kind of gates that open slowly (i.e. a more dramatic City Gate). Could also be used in conjunction with elevators. > LargeCityGateOpen1.wav I think this is used in the main campaign when the gate is opened with a key, or lever. (or in the cinematic where the guys in Dalaran charge out to stop the Undead from summoning Sargeras). > ShimmeringPortalBirth.wav > ShimmeringPortalDeath.wav > ShimmeringPortalEntrance.wav The portal sounds from the cinematics in Frozen Throne. I'm not sure whether you have to trigger these sounds in, or if they're already sound events within the portal model. That's the ones I could find. I didn't know if wc3 uses '/' or '\', hence the '>'. G'luck! |
