Default Orcish Ninja

Rawr!

Back to Good Ole Gmax for modeling now :)

I've been trying out Michael Dashow's technique for texturing, just for a change. Tutorial can be found here :>

Modeled, unwrapped and textured by me today. No animations just yet, I'm planning to animate it myself, or failing that, use the DemonHunter animations.

Pretty sweet, but doesn't seem to make any sense. I mean... An orcish ninja? :P

Well, the Blademaster has a pretty strong samurai/japanese monk vibe going on so I figured it wouldn't be too far off the mark. Also I've been watching a bunch of martial arts movies lately, so yeah :P

Forgot to mention, it's sitting on exactly 500 polygons :>

Also, I think it would look better without those ponytails. They look sort of weird; smooth, black hair simply 'flowing' out of the helmet would be best, imo.

i think the problem is that you can't see hair anywhere else. makes them look odd, like tassels.

"At least your stance looks good, heh."

:D

The hair is based on Kunimitsu from Tekken, just for kicks. So rawr :3

Got the Stand animation to export properly from NeoDex (apparently bones can't have both position and rotation keys or else it wigs out). Currently, there's an issue with the upper scabbard where the vertex weights seem to have done strange things on export... but I can probably fix it by spacing the hair a bit further from the body.

Oh yeah, and the obligatory:

"Hai gaiz it are my frist modul animayshun (that works ingame) "
