Default Gilneas Building (Doodad)

Based on this concept of a Gilneas building (the new Alliance faction in Cataclysm,
which was announced yesterday). Mesh is done from scratch and uses ingame textures.
I've included a portrait camera in case it needs to be selectable, but it isn't usable as a
building due to not having birth or death animations.

Please give credit if you use this resource and enjoy!

Come on, make a version that's more building-like. Basic human lumber mill animation and townhall roof teamcolor would sufice :P

yeah, that could be handy... I'll add that in :)

The problem with birth/death anims is that they're well.. animated. Check out the ingame building models' birth animation and you'll see what I mean - pieces of the building appear bit by bit, moving into position.

Pretty neat, fits the concept. I'm not sure I like the mortar team texture on the chimney though, looks pretty unfitting. Rest is pretty awesome, well done.

1st building: I add a teamcoloured roof and some more animations. Also add a portrait animation with a teamcolored background. (If you don't get what I mean, look at the steamtank model). The chimney'd look more warcraftish if it'd use another texture ... like the townhall stone wall (imo). It looks kinda silly that every side of that building comes with a clockwork. I'd also try to find a better texture for the glass window thingy. Overall, it's a pretty nice building meshwise but you can still improve it a lot.
2nd building, the roof looks good but the walls need a lot of work.
I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but you might just consider following my advice :D

Thanks, but I've got it covered :) I'll fix it when I resubmit.

Anyways, update with a WIP teaser. Still unfinished, obviously - I need to add more wooden areas, plus
the lighting effects and particles. This one is getting a bit hefty, sitting at around 850 polys currently :O
