blu: The rules were written to apply for both, and most of them covers the different areas pretty well I think. Somebody just decided to change the title of them to spells insted of "Spells & Systems" or "Demo maps", which both would've made more sence. Time to edit a certain announcement.

As far as I know, movement speed of the unit shouldn't matter since the "Art - Animation - Walk Speed" determines how much distance the unit covers in one animation loop; the animation speed should therefore scale according to the unit's movement speed. As for scaling the unit, that would simply increase it's animation movement speed by the scaling value, so all the author needs to specify is the walk animation speed at 1.0 scale.

More values to look out for are projectile launch coordinates and suggested shadow size. The model authors really should list as much of these values as possible since 1) this way, only they have to do it and 2) it's easiest for them to do, since they made the model.

All this isn't really needed if the model uses an unmodified set of animations taken from another war3 unit, since in that case, the user can copy the values from that unit.
