Default Hill 19

Here's Mine. It's called "Hill 19". It focuses on teamwork and coordinated movement. The wide spaces are on the bottom, dangerous areas, while the narrow catwalks are on the high areas. Both areas have distinct advantages and disadvantages (being high = shoot anyone, but very vulnerable to sniper rifles; being low = lots of dodging area, but you will need that dodging area a lot). The team that controls the hill doesn't necessarily win the game because defending the flag is piss easy if you stay on your spawn points. However, the hill controller can stop any noob team from getting their flag. Stopping a pro team, however, is a different story.

Default The Sacred Grove

The small grove in the middle of the map is near both spawn points so people can instantly dive into close combat, or sit on the ledges bombarding the area with grenades. The trees and rocks mean you need to get into the action, but don't have the worry of being picked off by snipers.

Getting the others teams flag is easy; so there will be lots of flagging, but scoring is quite difficult as you need to go through the grove and battle to an easily defended flag point, or go through the other teams base.

The only way back to your own base once you dive in is via your flag point; this is to force everyone to stay fightning, avoid spawn camping and stop people taking the other teams flag into their base and camping with it.

looks more like an assault type of map, since getting the flag is extremly easy. Perhaps having the center as the only way to the enemy flag would make it more interesting? Then you could quite easily get to the enemy flag, but once you get in there the way out would be swarmed by enemies, forcing you to fight your way out.

Agreed, is better having to battle to and from the flag; have attached a different version which has only one way to and from the flag.

My only problem with this configuration is there is no way back to your own base to change weapons/buy gadgets, but then that makes the map different from the ones we currently have :)

Another good thing about this map is attacking and defending are equal in terms of the terrain and distance from each teams spawn point.

i suggest a map, long, and each team spawns at each end, and both team's lag is in the middle. The flags happens to be in the lava ditch too!>:O hills, ramps, everywhere. Main route is a straight road with small hills, and vision blocking spots. Then a blocking terrain to the side routes, which leads directly to other team's base and has some camping spots to the main route.

This just brings up a thought, there should be a vision blocking item that blocks vision of a spot and everything behind it, dependin your location.

I'd like to see something new and unique to one stage, like the lava. Maybe have a stage where theres a few small spike pits, or bottomless pits, and if u jump in or get shotgunned in you instantly die, not all over the map, just a few patches

Heres one I've been dreaming of. Its supposed to be very hard to get around, due to the fact that you need to go into open territory to get anything.
Green = Base
Blue = Powerups
Red = Flag
Your meant to have to climb atleast halfway into the enemy base, jump down, take the long walk up the hole, and then continue to run like hell. Its made to be good for snipers and long-range weapons, as the entire map is basically within your range.
