How about a controllable Robot that acts like a camera. It can be used for shor period of time and exploads upon death. It would be useful in scanning dangerous areas.

Sort of dumb to me, it wouldn't be useful unless EVERYONE is using snipers or shotguns because of Cooldown/Range.

Shard Grenade

Gold Cost: 35 gold
Effects: On explosion, the grenade unleashes shards in every direction, about the size of the sniper bullet, but move slower. Each shard is spaced out from the next so they can be dodged. The AoE would be slightly smaller than the gas grenade.
Damage: about 25 per shard, so if enemies are moving they could take multiple hits and take a good amount of damage. More than one of this being thrown would own.

Personal Kinetic Forcefield
Costs 50 gold
Use on self, lasts 5-15 seconds, or until the field absorbs 250 damage
Absorbs(or reflects would work) all bullets(allied and enemy, not your own) and explosions within 200 range of player, (but not if they were already inside) converting the damage they would deal to knockback (distance would be 2x damage), does not protect from lava, lasers, acidbolts, and a grenade will penetrate the field if it moves slowly enough. Would make you almost invulnerable, but you could be knocked into a bad location, and bullets coming from inside the field could hit you anyway.

A alternative would be one that deflects grenades only, or otherwise.

Kinetic Forcefield
Costs 50 gold
Use on location, lasts until depleted
has 100 health, regenerates 5 per second.
Creates a large forcefield that absorbs bullets(allied and enemy, yours too), taking damage. Anything slow (grenades, players, acidbolts) or lasers can pass through. Explosions on one side do not effect objects on the other side(but will deplete the field).

take the flag, and place one behind you, it will absorb bullets for a short duration.

You could also make a level with permanent ones, that make it so that players cannot shoot at eachother from the other side, or make them have different deflection rules(such as only deflect grenades)

All values are negotiable

Idea came from Stargate SG1, the Goa'uld Personal force field shield, which has deflection capability proportional to the kinetic energy in the object hitting it. Although it could also deflect energy bursts in the show, allowing a laser to pass through it would make it have anouther weakness. the knockback effect for the personal shield will make it less convenient. There was never a shield like this that would block a hallway in the show, mainly because it wouldnt be very helpful, people could walk right through. however, in this game, it would be a interesting object to use.

Costs 50 gold
Passive, effects all ammo, bullets, grenades ect
Bullets reveal in a small radius, maybe 250-350
