well there are many ways to solve this. You dont have to use a category at all. Theres just no need for one to achieve orb stacking. Categories are just a way of limiting the stacking capabilities.

Say, you wanted those items to stack with themselves, but not to stack with a stronger ability. Youd add that ability to a category with WRITE (in case you want the ability itself to stack) or READWRITE (in case you dont want the ability to stack with itself) access, and add the item to the same category with READ access. Set that category's execution limit to one and youre done.

Well, what is tr? I dont see its declaration. Is it added to the hero?

Make your inventory add abilities to heroes. That should solve all problems.

by the way, when a unit has an orb effect ability or item, do orb stacking still works for that unit? I'm afraid that some of my orb effect items will not stack with this.

Well, this uses an orb effect itself, so you will have to softcode all your orbs.

i hate your whitespace, and the instructions don't seem to be in english.

i guess the main thing that bugs me is the part about the read and write, that part doesn't make sense at all.

is there anything in particular thats not understandable? "the instructions" is basically the whole documentation. I realize my english isnt perfect, but i dont think you cant understand me at all.

I tried explaining the read/write constants here. Tell me, if even that doesnt help you understand it.
