Hey moyack,
i just had a look at at the userDefineLang.xml and the keyword list for the common.j functions seems to be incomplete - at least for me TriggerRegisterDialogButtonEvent is the last listed function.
The API is complete however.

Hmmm... Curious.... I'll have to check it out, because I copied ALL the functions from common.j and common.ai to that place, and it didn't put me any issues.

EDIT: Shit!! that's right, it's missing the last commands. I'll update the file with the new one. Thanks for point me out the bug Dr.Willy.

Thanks for the api moyack. I won't be using your syntax highlighting as I've been using notepad++ for a while now, and have my own setup for highlighting.

That issue with the folding is really easy to solve actually - just make "takes" the folding keyword, instead of "function"

edit: Well, it solves the folding issue with function calls anyway. The interface problem will still be there, but in my opinion being able to fold functions is more important.

I prefer PSPad over Notepad++ though, I think it is much better and has many more options, I've seen custom syntax highlighting added to PSPad and it turned out to be really nice. You should try it out for other programming languages to see how you like it.

Moyack I have a problem, the api doesn't seem to work at all, nothing happens when I press ctrl + space when I am writing.

My steps:
1 - run
2 - type weird sentence
3 - copy xml
4 - close

tested and it worked

1 - entered "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\APIs"
2 - pasted api file

tested, nothing happens
Also, the file is saved as .j

ZOMG, I thought nobody was using this tool anymore... well, thisis not your fault Flame, is Notepad, they've changed the API file by one different. I've been trying to make the new one, but... it takes too much time.

I'll double post because the code is too long. I hope to have finished this file one day.

Well, I can't code vJASS in all places as I would like, so your alternative solution seems quite adequate to my problem.

About your xml file, I have to paste it on the folder correct ?
If it is already completed I can do that myself, I just need to know the name the file must have. Btw, where did you learn how to do this stuff? I am very inspired from your code and now I have in mind something similar for gedit or Kate (Linux text editors).

I am not interested in man love ...
But I can help you complete this thing. It is 00:00 in my country now, so I will start tomorrow and I will post some updates.

Wc3c is preventing me from writing new posts (again), so I just double posted the completed .xml file which took me 7 minutes to create and 8 to correct indentation and post. Please enjoy the .rar =D
Btw, I woke up at 8:50 AM to make this thing, if you don't use that file I will kill you =P
