I don't know how to explain with English.

In fact, it (MDX compress) remove decimal part of the coordinate. this can get a better compression ratio.

Anyway, if I use both, will it crash ? or get corrupted ? =S

I can't test it, I only have 30 mins of internet per day and I am in a cheap cyber shop without WE instated !!! (yes I am on holiday; I am doomed I know ...) That is why I am asking =P

could you make mdx optimization, weld vertexes as well? when models are exported with art tools, many vertexes are left sepparated because of how you rigg with art tools. You should make the optimizer parse the .mdx and find vertexes which are equal in every form(including normals) and colapse them, this could optimize a lot.

You could also add an option to convert hermite and bezier rotations into linear, in most of my models when I do this, I save about 40% of space.

This tool is more of a widgetizer alternative... And that it optimizes models and icons only means one thing: less work for me.

SLK conversion is good for a certain group of maps, but on others it would just increase the size. Its objective is not to decrease map size, rather to decrease loading time.

The build tool tips are changed back to normal when you use this optimizer.

As an example, if you changed peasants build tool tip to "This is a build tool tip" after you use the optimizer its "Train |cffffcc00P|reasant" again.
