w00t i imported a gnoll with all its animations... yet the skin seems really low quality compared to the normal gnoll and the alpha around the ball and other places doesnt seem to become invisible.

actually i think you must mean 2 colour alpha, cus when i set it to additive it turned the gnoll ghostish. Anyone know why the skin looks so crappy? (i used the right skin tho)

Ok what im trying to do is add a rifle and a helmet to the villager(villager1) and so far, I booted up max, imported the model (it looks like the guy, but there is some sort of zombie-type model beside him) found my helmet model, copied it onto the villager, and I hadnt made the rifle yet but I tried exporting it anyways, to see what it would look like. It came up with an error during export, I dont know what the error meant as it highlighted some sort of symbols, there were no numbers or words, just stuff like #@@$@% ect. So that failed. I read in your tutorial, cookie, that the exporter DOES NOT support 3rd party models, would that be like copy/pasting my helmet onto this scene? And if so, how did you get all your great Neverwinter Nights models into it to export? If this isnt the case, do you know where I've gone wrong?
Thanks,
Iron_Warrior

after i've converted to mdl, then deleted and copied and all that, when i try to convert back to mdx it says:
Error reading model file:

warning (line1):Expected 124912 "1/2", but found 149769036
Error (line 1):UNexpected token "1/2"

what does it mean?

The tools you need and the sample files are in this

link!.

The file is a zip that contans:

Fadi's importer script
kmk's importer script
yobguls tools (very big as it needs cracked dll's)
Arthas_export.max alongside with the tga's. It has al the animations, materials global seq fixes and stuff. NO

particles though as Fadi's importer does NOT import particles.

Enjoy!
