Transformation abilities when put into a spellbook may appear outside the book but clicking the "fake" outside ability has no effect.

Im not sure if this is true all the time but I managed to acheive it somehow unintentionally.

Confirmed. It disables the unit's attack, and if tried again, it will display the attack for a brief second, and then disable it again. For some reason heroes don't have the same affect (it doesn't show but still can attack).

Figured it out, War Club isn't truely random (well besides on heroes, it gave a Paladin approx 600 range...), it actually just disables the first attack of the unit and enables the second. For example, it's Attack 1 only that deals 12-13 damage. If you use it, then Attack 2 would replace Attack 1 (on the left side of the unit where the Attack 1 was shown) and be 10-10 or whatever Attack 2 is for the unit.

By based... here's a clear example:

If I create a unit based on Priestess of the Moon or edit the Priestess of the Moon the skill will work fine.

If I create a unit based on Paladin or edit the Paladin to become a ranged unit the skill will not work.

If I create a unit based on Naga Sea Witch or edit the Naga Sea Witch to become a melee unit the skill will work fine.

Hopefully that helps clarify some stuff

I'm pretty sure that you can't modify the range of an ability based on Pheonix Fire, or if you can, it's pretty buggy. Whether the range is 200 or 2000, the ability still seems to attack units at the default range (I think it's 600 or 800 iirc, I'll check later).

The item ability that the blink dagger uses (forgot what it's called), if you double click it it will teleport the user closer to the starting location (that rotating circle in WE).

That's because casting a point target spell on an item actually casts the spell on the point where the unit acquired the item. This is the driving force behind Scroll of Town Portal's 'Double Click to Return to Town Hall' effect.

It's where the item was picked up... so not the starting locations.

1. Anopob was correct; make sure to update it (War Club only disables Attack-1 and enables Attack-2 for a duration (specified by the "Number of Hits" (?) field.)

2. Found something new... the "Rain of Chaos (Archimonde)" ability is useful because it casts a chosen "ability for unit creation" (summon) a specified number of times, randomly arranged in the specified area. The "Dark Portal" ability is useful because it allows for a customized "random array" of permanent summons, where the array can consist of more than 1 summoned unit.

However (this is the "weird" part), put together they do not work. ((I kinda need a second opinion or confirmation on that...)) Regardless, when the "Ability for Unit Creation" field is set to a custom "Dark Portal" ability, the custom "Rain of Chaos" ability (once cast), has no effect.

I didn't even know either of those spells did that. "Dark Portal" is an excellent ability and one of the only summons I know of (if not THE only summon) that can make more than 2 types (since Summon Skeletons can do 2) of units. Rain of Chaos is like a multiple Inferno, no?

I shall add those and update Anop's.
