hmm I'm ranting in this post so to the point up front.

-change frogs camoflague to an all hour hide (day and night)

-sea giant spear throw seems good

-immolation cloak can render sleep useless against camping nagas (as the rescuer still gets killed due to flames) also seems to kill buildings extremely quickly providing immense cash flow. perhaps nerf the damage a bit.

-for the sea witch her rift spell that randomly moves fish around needs a longer range. you have to be practically next to the fish to use it on them. and at that point you might as well just net them and hope you kill the one or two layers of buildings quick enough.

-I don't believe the witchs teleport is too powerful as it gives plenty of advance warning. about 2-4 seconds i dont know didnt count.


hmm, lets see. ya i realized the naga dont need more energy regen after playing with fish in a game of full nagas. (where half the fish eventually left) it's amazing we still won. though that was due largely to the fact that 2 of the naga left in the last 3 minutes.

well. before i get to naga. i'd like to address the frog. personally i hate playing as him because i feel like i'm cheating. perhaps camoflage should be a hide ability that works both in the day and in the night. that might balance it a bit more. mostly i just love his leap ability.

as for the naga. with the addition of the spearthrow to the sea giant it sounds like it should be fun. atm i don't see any real problem with the nagas abilities. (though i'm prone not to get the damage spells unless there's repair murlocs running around) the crushers being an exception because of the suction effect.

As far as items go. that immolation cloak is a killer. i know its what scares me the most as a fish.. Other than the sleep effect it can also accidentally kill fish in hiding when the naga don't know they're there.

heh i still need to get better as fish. by the time i have 5k or so to build a tower base they find my base just as im building it and kill it off. well i'm done ranting.

I think you're just still counted as being netted. it wears off about the same ammount of time as the net does.

Well now I've played another game and I often wonder....

Shouldn't there be an easier way to find invisible buildings? I had to keep stocking up on flares (which was down right annoying) as a Sea Giant because I couldn't get a jewel. The closest I came to getting one was when I walked up to a fish's marketplace...but then the fish was captured and I didn't buy my trusty jewel. The thing is those bloody invisible buildings. Very balanced under the fact that they have very low durability...but...it is VERY annoying to try to get past an invisible barrier that you can't attack.

Well the Flare Gun is being changed so that:

It now costs 150 gold. But, it is a reusable flare that has 500 AoE reveal (small) and costs 25 mana with 30 sec CD.

ever try getting immolation cloak. that kills invis buildings real quickly. another point for immo cloak being the most useful naga item in the game.

btw karawasa. great job so far.

You know maybe immo cloak doesn't need to be nerfed, if you just increased its cost to say 750 it might balance it out.

personally i liked the old flares, but then i always had at least one hero with reveal.

That will help a lot. I kept running into issues where I'd have 750 gold but absolutely nothing to spend it on but constant trips to the flare shop. I even bought a pack of Serpent Wards to help out...but of course that 4-some limit makes them not nearly as useful when you want a short term invisible-barrier-breaker.

I got the immo cloak, but by then it seemed too late in the game. Even if I could get rid of the invisible barriers the fish would take off. If I had something that would kill it fast (like my own attack...which is made possible by flares), then there's a chance I can ensnare and/or fish hook and capture mr fishie.

the immo cloak is mainly used as a cash flow. If you get it right at the start it kills buildings extremely quickly. As far as sentry wards go I always use all 4 of those to cover the middle base. then after i have the cloak and sentries I go on to get the fish hook and I might get stasis wards after that but lately I'm tending to buy level tomes instead. The blink dagger is also very useful for the nonrevenants to get some revenant-like action. of course even with the cloak its hard to get money for all of these items. I usually end up with cloak sentries fish hook and two tomes by the end of the game.

Seeing hunters win is a change hehe

I relly dont see many issues anymore, but funny how fishies lost cause half of em left with 3 minutes left TT

Was trying to use those invis towers as wards too see if that was effective. Kinda was till I died and lost the visibility grid I set up xD I Think other fish classes would be better at the mass invis towers thing, I randomed the murloc that game

And then i makes teh word HI out of blockys and got gged rotfl

lol i like being water elem and setting up building matrixes in the middle. and I always win as naga unless my team leaves on me. which happened once.

Well if you want to make another Naga, a burrowing Naga would be unique and nice. Facing an invisible wall? Burrow under it and dig up behind a fishie :P

As for 2 more fishies...you could have the rock elemental and tropical bird. The rock elemental would be able to build much more durable buildings, but in turn walks slower than usual. The tropical bird can fly lowly over the ground and pass through obstacles that you need a dagger to pass through. However, any building it builds is unusually weak, and it's more based on surviving through the whole map rather than staying in a few choice spots with a fortress of towers.

A think a naga that specalizes in steath and ambush would be friken scarry to face, but i dunno if thats too evil. All his skills would specilize in stealth and ambush, but it wont be a good seiger at all. Would be a very challenging naga i would think to play
