As much as I liked the idea, I never seen one of my skins look so goddamn ugly ingame. I mean, it was REALLY awful. I dont think I have that one anymore... yeah, sorry.
I could give it another look in the future, but Im not that much interested in that. I was also planning to make that same concept with the lich too if possible :P

Anyway, been a while since I played Diablo, Ill have to revisit that cow level I think.

Well, the past 4 skinning contest awards haven't been distributed. The fact that our art admin doesn't do jack shit is defiitely something to worry about.

I forgot to post this, I actually made it a long time ago. I tried to make what dusk suggested for the totems in the cow skin and made some pack with weapons and stuff.

Hrm.. It looks cool, but it seems like there's a lot of stuff fighting to be seen in it. If it could contrast a bit better, it'd really shine through, though.

I had to block you because your account constantly spammed virus-sites at me (much like Vigor's did). Furthermore, that post you quoted was more than 6 months ago, after a stint of you not judging the hero contest, not applying rewards for 4 skinning contests, and generally not doing anything on the site at all.

Anyways, the reason art is so inactive at WC3C is in part because there isn't an active art admin to motivate others to do stuff. And yeah, we don't need that many admins, but it'd be nice if we had them so each of us could do less work instead of one or two doing all of the work.

If you would like to continue this discussion, please private message me. (or better yet, we could hold it in the admin forum)

Back with the Lich.
I restarted his body, I didnt liked where it was going at all. I still havent done any sketching on those diamond-like hanging clothes, so save those "too much purple" comments for now, itll surely have some vines and TC when I get on that part. Ill redo those horns on his head later too, after Im done with the body, they look out of place now.

As for the cow skin, I made a simple fix of contrast, Ill still have to check it ingame to see if that is enough to fix the problem (too lazy to do it now :P). And I still have to do something with the beards, I honestly have no idea of what to do with those.

The purple spooky face thing on the back of the mantle is messing with his pumpkin head; they're the same level of detail, contrast and saturation so they blend together. I reckon you could fix it by darkening and/or reducing the amount of saturation on the mantle. Ditto the blue on his chest.

The detail and style is terrific, but you already knew that xD

It looks nicer ingame actually. The problem is that I had the shadows turned off when I took the screenshots. If I darken it, itll look really weird, since when you look the model from behing, 50% of it its covered by that... floating thing, and I need something to make it look less plain. Darkening would kill all the details I think. About the blue on his chest, Ill get on it.

Im posting an ingame screenshot to show how it looks. And well, since I was at it, I took a screenshot of the cow too.
