On the design side, each of them had issues and good points; there wasn't all that much between them, and none really stood out as 'wow, this is awesome', like Bone Breaker's animation work which was just SWEET!

it doesnt really matter if a judge gives an avarage of high grades or low grades. If you look at the range of my grades, theres a bit of a contrast going on.

Exactly my point, there was a big difference between some art (between 5/10 and 10/10), but with the design and code everyone was around the same area.

Forgive the noobie questions but where can we see every hero and perhaps test them (if that's part of the contest)? I've been looking in every nook and cranny of the site, haven't found a page with all the contestants. I know the contest is already over but I want to (if we're allowed) use some of the spells / models for my upcoming scenario. :D

They are all in a downloadable file, with all the test maps all ready for testing. Be sure to contact the hero makers for permission before you use anything.
