From the editor it looks fine.

How does it look in the game?

Things like the interface (frame) and black mask and fog of war and the small fact that far Z is only 5000 max and that the came camera has a limited range of angle of attack all play a roll on the terrain as seen from in the game.

Folk complain that flat terrain does not work - it doesn't, not as a terrain for pretty pictures from the editor, in the game it works perfectly fine a lot more often than it would in a terrain picture.

Somethings are just never seen in the game that are seen in editor. Tall structures and the underside of structures are not seen - its a big waste of doodads and creative talent to make things for a game that will never be seen in the game.

Tallish hills do not always work in the game - you only see the side but never the tops... lots of little stuff that does not matter or can even ruin a pretty editor terrain job for the game.

So my question is always - "What does it look like in the game?" when it comes to terrain for games.

if fairly i think 75 % of everything, that i made it will be visible in game

O_o ... BUT ! xD camera counts displacement on Z in dependence of height of a point in which she is directed => all it is perfectly visible.

well, standard bushes have two pluss:

1) they can be put easily on a rough surface
2) them it is good to mask any defects...)
