Default Wc3 RPG (Pen-and-Paper)

Any one *really* interested in Warcraft Lore should also consider checking out the PnP Roleplaying games available. They appear to have a fair bit of info in them (while doubling a functional D20 based RPG).

But then again, that leads us down the dark, dark road that is thread based Role Playing (a surprisingly functional excercise, if everyones familar with the pen-and-paper rules).

Yep, awesome source of Azeroth's history and that. The main sourcebook and Lands of Conflict sourcebooks have also timelike events there. All that kind. I have all the WC(not3)RPG sourcebooks except More Magic & Mayhem and Horde & Alliance Compedium.

I have all the Warcraft RPG Books. Im gonna get the World of Warcraft RPG books soon as I can. I interviewed Luke Johnson from White Wolf about the new upcoming line of Wow RPG Books:
http://www.blizzplanet.com/?action=C...owpage&pid=252

This sorta describes what each book will contain:
http://www.blizzplanet.com/modules.p...owpage&pid=295

The Lands of Mystery is a sequel to Lands of Conflict -- both narrated by Brann Bronzebeard. He is now exploring Kalimdor, Undermine, Echo Isles, South Seas and Northrend. Im tagging this one as a must-have.

The Wow: Monster Guide will have 200 monsters including Onyxia, Baron Geddon, Lord Kazaak, Satyrs, Naga, Blood Elves, Quillboar, Harpies, Centaurs(post Pariah in Maraudon), and others.

Anyone actually played them as RPG's? I've always wondered how they stand up in actual play (don't own the books myself, but am a big PnP roleplay geek).

You can find out about the PnP/d20 aspect with other fans at the official Warcraft RPG Forums:

I'll check it out, although my chance of getting an impartial review is unlikly at best.

But then again it is D20, so it's already hamstrung (in my eyes at least).

When you visit the forums often look out for MagusRogue -- he is Game Developer. Luke Johnson is the Author and Developer of the books(Big Kahuna).
