there is no "Save for web" option in corel painter 8, so im at a loss about how to configure a picture i want to post for web posting... right now im supposedly showing red x's for my pics done in painter 8.

What do i do to configure it properly
is there a certain pixels per inch
is there a certain color setting
(btw i am saving it as a jpeg, so that isnt the problem)

HELP!!!

1. if i googled "gimp" i would have to wade through 20 pages of nonsense about cripples before i got anything useful :\

2. why are you always so sarcastically negative all the damn time desperado?! :<

[EDIT: but if it is showing up fine, then ill let this thread die... Its nice to see you back Jac (back Jac... it rhymes! ^_^ ) you havent posted in a long while]

Whomever gave me the reputation comment "spammer" on this thread clearly needs to get his/her head checked. I only said what I did because Carigon asked us to TELL him if the picture was showing up. All things considered, I'm guessing it was Mav.

Carigon: I'm not sure what you mean - I've posted several times this week, I believe. Haven't gone anywhere. ^^ Thanks, though.

correct. no need to repeat things already said before, thus, it is spam.
