Default Isles

I tried to recreate a typical asian water landscape. It's quite a simple terrain but I like it somehow.

Yes, it's night. The fog is blue because of that.

Your terrain is awesome! Very nicely done.
Very good tile variation, doodad placement is nice, and the placement of trees is good as well. Fog goes well with the sky and water, making a good impact on the terrain it self.
The only flaw is the pointy hills. And one or two of the mountains are bit too pointy.
The tree models you used make the terrain look very oriental as well, which I think was a personally good decision.
Sorry for bumping this, but I thought I should give a good review of the terrain.

wow that is pretty nice, the mountain in the middle on the left of the first one is heaps intresting, ive never seen someone do that and have it work for them, i think that the random flat bits that are very low lying need to be fixed up a bit, they dont realy fit in with the rest.

those leveled + raised mountains are awesome, pic 2 and 3 are awesome because of those cool mountains.

ive seen pictures of japanese terrain (thats real life terrain ) and it seems to have these super high plateus that rise up from valleys and have trees sprouting out from the sides, they look realy great, is that the kind of image ur trying to emulate?
