UPDATE 1.2: Added function CreateShieldEx with 2 arguments - shield color and damage spill option, also fixed problem with armor also blocking the damage spill.

Hmm...

I finally got to the conclusion, that this as a perfect plan how to create a shield.
But as a template it's actually not usefull, because of so many diffrent needs of each map creator and diffrent spells. So.. the system itself is great but the common help conveyed by the system is very little.

Im using your shield system, it is really good but I'm trying to get the shields hp based on my heroes int, and because i really suck on Jass i can't get it work, can someone please fix this for me?

You're missing the part marked in red, at least that's the most obvious thing.

Just so you know, this system will be broken by the next WC3 patch, so unless shadow1500 fixes it you soon won't be able to use it anymore.

WHAT?! Seriously? The hell is bliz doing that's going to suddenly break everything? I use this in one of my maps as well, so this is rather a bit of an issue... =o

Yeah, I used this in my map too and I had to fully recode the system to make it work for 1.23b... Pretty sad, but it turned out a little better in my case. :P
