Has anyone seen this "Element TD flash game":

I was just wondering if anyone here had anything to do with it. It's not as well made as the Wc3 one, but it's interesting to see nonetheless.

A well made flash game based on ele td (or any other high quality td) would be awesume. Tried that one and it wasn't all that bad :)

I don't fully understand that TD though... I don't think the dots have any resistances of any kind ^^ I've only played it briefly once, but I think massing a few ice and fire towers on the right spot is enough...

Yeah, I played it while playing another map on Wc3. Two maps at once = funny :)

I just think the interface as a whole was very confusing to the player, and could have been done better.

Element TD Fans,

Today is your day to rejoice.

Recently, I was contacted by a well known and respected JASS coder from the WC3 community; The)TideHunter(. His desire was to dust off Element TD, and revive it. Although I haven't done anything Warcraft 3 related in almost a year, his offer awakened my interest.

As a result, Element TD Final is official. We have started development. We are taking this project very seriously, and will require the needed manpower to put out something that does the legacy of Element TD justice.

We will need beta testers, and idea designers. To facilitate this, new Element TD forums have been setup. Join the process, visit www.eletd.com/forum

Because of our need of manpower, I ask you all to spread the word of this to your friends. We need to round up as many people as possible, to ensure the highest quality for the map.

What can you expect?

-Overhaul and redesign of every single dual/triple element tower
-A higher level of balance
-Elimination of any outstanding bugs
-Tweaking of current game modes, addition of new ones
-Recoding of entire map into JASS for smoother performance, and smaller mapsize

I would like to help and I already joined your forums. But I'm not very good at EleTD. But I think it's a fun game. I would host it a lot(if I didn't forward my older brother's computer's ports for his birthday and I guess you can't forward two computer's ports with one router) So I just try to join games. So I guess I could be a better reflexion on the less skilled players of EleTD.

Thanks for the compliments. The new version is progressing quite well, the second beta is going to be released within a couple of days. If all goes well, a public beta can be put out a couple of weeks after that.

Make no mistake, the game has evolved much beyond even what I had planned when I dusted off the map. With proper support from the Beta Team, Element TD 4.0 will easily be like no other TD you have played.

It should be noted that it is now 4.0 in development, there are too many changes to release a final and be done with it.

Nice. :) Many new towers, though nothing fundamentally changed, but I don't think that was your purpose.

I've got a bug report, and a comment.

First of all the bug. The flesh golems did weird for me. Normally they get big after a while, but that only happened with one of them (I had two), the second one sometimes 'flickered' size, but mainly kept on being small. He almost always had some buffs, maybe they're causing it?

Secondly the comment, I didn't build many summoning towers, so I don't know if it's the case with other ones, but the minion summoning tower didn't have a rally point, which is quite annoying. :p I actually always disliked summoning things, cuz they're not really totally 'passive'. You still have to tell your summoned units to get to the right place, which shouldn't be something to waste your time on with a TD. I don't think that can be solved though. But the rally point would be a big help.

Edit: Oh yeh, where did the very nice loading screen go? :p
