It shouldn't, unless, as it was told ebofre, you overwrote all handicap values registration (or used the registerall method).

This has gone without a review for long enough.

I don't have the time for a full review right now, so I'll just post my initial thought to get the review process started:

Looking at the race declaration&registering interface, the naming conventions are confusing. There's the create static method that creates (and registers, perhaps unnecessarily?) a CustomRace, then there's the register method that registers a race for a specific handicap, and then there's registerAll that judging by it's name registers a race for all handicaps but instead it is a static method that creates (and registers) a CustomRace. This could be somewhat simplified if the create method did the creating only and the register methods did registering only.

Recently, I've been developing the CustomType script and Custom Race System simultaneously. With the release of the new patch, I'm going to do some extensive rewrites to the Custom Race System and its documentation, and your comments will get serious attention.

The new patch also renders the demo map useless, so I'll release a leaner version of that as well.

At the risk of overstepping my bounds (since I am not the asshole who submitted it), I think I can speak on Archamge's behalf concerning this, since I kind of came up with the original approach.

While I do concur the naming convention might be a little weird, I feel the actual implementation is not. See, each race, in order to be of any use, must be associated to a given handicap; thus the basic registration is implied in the constructor. The register method is just a handy way to register an existant race in more than one handicap (say, the Magic Race was registered for the undead race in handicaps 1.0 - 0.8). registerAll might be the one going out of the naming convention, as it is actually a shorthand constructor that also registers a given race for all possible handicaps.

I can understand what you mean about totally separating the creation from registering, but given the actual necessity of registering a created race (otherwise it is totally worthless as shit), I believed that both creation and registration should happen during instantiation.

Demo map update for 1.24. Much lighter version, smaller map, and the only custom race currently registered is Naga.

The system didn't require an update, but I may do some work on it in the near future.
