Default How dead is this?

I enjoy playing this map. Only thing is:

I cant enjoy it, because noone wants to play it and its absolutely impossible to play without a full house. When with a small number of people the kobolts stun and pwn.

Managed to kill the small dude a few times with a lucky full house, but then the big dude came and slaughtered all 10 of us without a problem...

What's up?

Dusk is still working on this, but slowly, as he is focusing more on DoE & AotZ 3.0

We play a game of this every once in a while on east; channel clan vz

I've heard that 0.10r is pretty much done, he just needs to get around to releasing it

InfraNE:

Dont play with full house. With 6 players (1 of each hero class) its easier.
Necro must block 1 road against the mass creeps on beginning.
When you have the Key for Boss 1, then go all to shop. 1 takes the key, wake Boss 1 and should die (best directly at the boss). The others run away from Boss till RAGE ist over. Then you can attack and beat him. Use Palas mana burn to attack Boss 1.

Boss 1 is the easiest.

1 Question for next version: WIll there be the Bosses 7-10?

I'm just a really suspense-driven person, so I generally hide in the shadows until I'm ready to drop a big hammer. There are lots of things I'm doing for .10r, including fixing the AI for Shivra, making Mara harder (again), retooling Level 1 and Ramm a bit, etc.

Don't worry about the bash, it was a stupid idea. I've removed it in .10r and compensated for it with faster moving Kobolds. Additionally, I've spiced up the visuals on Ramm's spells, making him feel that much more badass.

Let me throw up the current change log to show you how far along I am in fixing things:

My biggest problem was that I fixed a lot of those things, but did so without updating the change log to tell me that I did them. So now I don't actually know exactly how much of it's done or isn't, so I have to check it all.

Don't worry, it's not dead, I'm just hyperextending myself between many projects. I need to release DoE 1.11c before I can really buckle down on working on OD .10r, then I can jump back on the Aot3 bandwagon for a bit of love prior to summer. (That's the plan)

The biggest problem I have is that not a lot of people really show any interest in OD. It's kind of a shocker to me that you even know what it is, Inf! If there were more of a demand for me to work on it, I'd put it above my other maps. The fact of the matter, though, is that DoE/AotZ just have so many more fans. It'll get done, though, don't worry. That it's a project hosted on wc3c is my guarantee of that. :)

so positive feedback for a really fine map:

Im not often in Bnet (1-2 times in a week)
but when Im in
I host allways your great map (at least once).
I have some friends who love this map because its a a original challenging map, and it has nothing to do with AOS (nothing against good AOS maps!).

So yes, I hope for next version.

In b-net, its for us nearly impossible to win against Boss 5 (we make slow progresses).
Any chance for 2 difficulty grades? Probably no, its challenging cause uts difficult...

Man please release a new version :) the bash is annoying me to hell and I only managed to kill the second boss once out of pure luck in a public game. Too hard for battle net!

Thank god that this map isn't dead!!!!
i played it a few days ago in b net and we reached lvl 4(those one where boulders are falling down)
i think its fantastic and i have a few friends in half a week invitet to a warcraft 3 lan party. fortunatly were exactly 10 people so i m sure well play OD.
i was looking on google for a newer version, but i type obsidian deeps(not dephts).
so i thought the project would be dead because on your clan-hompage your last version is from 2008...
the only versions i have are
ObsidDepths_v010q(p).w3x
and
ObsidDepths_v010p(p).w3x
is there a newer one?
would be very nice if you could send me the newest version of it!!!!

PS: why you nerfed berserker? that heal was very usefull!

'q' is the most recent current version. 'r' is the version I am working on now.
