im also member on hive and i dont get so much help from there i think....

so i wondering if there are any good spell makers im total noob at making spells and my spells leaks like hell....

so if some one wana help me plz post coment or if u could actually do some of my spells i want give me a pm or a comment here :)

i try to make a easy spell...
Trigger:
Untitled Trigger 003
Collapse Events
Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
Collapse Conditions
(Ability being cast) Equal to War Stomp Orig
Collapse Actions
Unit - Create 1 Warstomp Evil demon bal Dummy for (Owner of (Casting unit)) at (Position of (Triggering unit)) facing (Position of (Triggering unit))
Unit - Add a 2.00 second Generic expiration timer to (Last created unit)
Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the overhead of (Casting unit) using Abilities\Spells\Undead\AnimateDead\AnimateDeadTarget.mdl
Special Effect - Destroy (Last created special effect)

and its not working it leaks and a guy told me to do variables...

and exactually how do i do this spell can u explain and do it in triggers like i posted.....

its gona do a green warstomp instead of red its why i made a dummy unit....

and then i need a spell that makes.... a unit jump and then hit the ground and do a thunder clap... can u also show this trigger and tell me the variables :)
and it gona do 500 damage.....

and then i need an berserker ability that makes unit do more damage when he attacking + this berserker speed :) how i do this trigger....

and then i have a spell on a map named earth mastery... and i want that spell from that map to my map but the spell leaks very much so if some on could do that spell on another map i must have your msn i think :) and this site is nice xD

Ok, let's convert this into trigger, use the [trigger][/trigger] tags:
Trigger:

Custom Script - local location udg_L = GetUnitLocation(GetTriggerUnit()) // Stores in a local variable the location of the unit...
Unit - Create 1 Warstomp Evil demon bal Dummy for (Owner of (Casting unit)) at (L) facing (0.)
Unit - Add a 1.00 second Generic expiration timer to (Last created unit)
Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the overhead of (Casting unit) using Abilities\Spells\Undead\AnimateDead\AnimateDeadTarget.mdl
Special Effect - Destroy (Last created special effect)
Custom Script - call RemoveLocation(udg_L)
Custom Script - set udg_L = null

Add those custom scripts and I think this code won't leak anymore...

But now that you're talking about changing the effect... you just can avoid this trigger and do a custom spell based on WarStomp and change the effect by the one you need in the art fields...

About the other spells... have you checked the database??

Yes, but in this case "L" is acting as a local, so there is need to null it.

He wrote that without the world editor and he didn't write out the full "0.00". He should have written:

L = Location that you're making the unit at.
0. = The degrees the unit is facing.

Basically it'd be the part of your trigger where you initially had "at (Position of (Triggering unit)) facing (Position of (Triggering unit)) "
