@Furion: If i remember there was a patching tool that you could use to update files in an mpq automatically so in that retrospect its possible. It requires the particular war2 AMAI version to be maintained though. You can't just send in the standard AMAI TFT version :D

@TheSecretArts: ??? The menu that comes up at the start of the game allows you to switch between classic and enchanced as well as loads of other different options like turning rally on or off etc

@TheSecretarts: vJass

The entire system is coded in a single source map which is compiled using jasshelper and debug mode off. Then everything is extracted out the map and placed into the correct files for the mod mpq. The trigger data is merged into the blizzard.j (which controls everything on a map) file and the trigger data modified such that its unique to support custom maps. The unit data is slk'd using widgetizer. Grimoire then controls the loading of this mpq to implant the mpq into warcraft.

Version 1.20 re-release now out!!!

Took me probrably over a year but its finally out with all those bug fixes. The heroes still are not finished for the enhanced mode but the stats of the heroes have been finally balanced out.

The campaign still hasn't been updated so still has that uncompletable 3rd mission but still works with the new engine update otherwise. For now you can use the cheat 'unite the clans' to just get a look at that 4th mission.

For those who didn't hear this could potentially be last time i will work on the engine as continuing to support all on my own is very draining. For this potential reason the source map of the engine is now available for people to explore as well as the custom AMAI.

Wait, what what what? What about all the maps Witching Hour made? There were screenshots and everything... :(

He finished it a long time ago, all the way back on page 6 of this thread? Why wouldn't that be included? :(

@Furion: Thats right the maps themselves are all set up. Any triggering/quests and/or ai like the demo campaign is another matter so you can't do much with them right now. Your right they should be put up as well though. I've got a third campaign file too.

@TheSecretArts: Zepirs the only easy way to clone war2 maps though otherwise imagine making all those maps single handedly. Greatly speeds up the process.


Edit- Hellhammer(witchinghour)'s campaign work is now up for download.

Edit2- Just uploaded a patch to the engine that fixes the bug in the third mission of the demo campaign. No need to update that demo campaign now ( and only 508 kb :D)

Edit3- An improved manual is now available for download and the spreadsheet that was used for the attack damage system is now up.

Only available as a small patch update for the 1.20 executable.

EDIT: These few AI flaws are now falling rapidly. I've now found the root cause of the peon defense spam when the ai's base is threatened not sure if it be in a 1.20d or GASP a 1.21? . Now just need a solution to get the focus fire systems to override the blizzard bug of units not attacking and just standing about doing nothing in no hero situations.
