Hi and happy new year to everybody,
I've tried many times the AMAI new year edition, it's pretty good that you found a method to override random building placement. Unfortunately i have seen a game where the Elf AI got stucked :(

It took many games before i found this situation, that i consider quite rare. Here's the replay.

Another question: Often you can see the Elf CPU building an Ancient Protector a bit far from its building. All times it happened the tower was very good positioned at the edge of a climb. Was this a coincidence or you made it on purpose?

P.S.: I'm recently enjoing myself watching 2 AMAI CPU games vs 1 Insane. In older version the Insane CPU won 90% times of all games. As far as i tried, now only the night elf Insane was able to defeat the 2 CPUs (i'm testing it in Turtle Rock). It seems that AMAI has problem countering Huntress, i mean strategy is ok but in combat CPU should FF them much better. I can expand this argument if u request detail.

Well I saw this problem also while playing with Blizzard's AI so it isn't new (for me). And hm I got a replay in which this Tower placement attracts nearby creeps to attack causing the AMAI to a) run or even tp to its expansion b) stop if its currently going to attack an enemy as in the replay although this caused the creeps to get their HP lowered which made them easy targets. ^_^

That replay also shows something strange since the human AI goes for mass footies and knights the orcs goes for mass hhs so its loss was very predictable.

The AIs also displayed the same tactics in a row. :(
