I found a wonderful site with many great magic/seige/field RPG music that I can use for my map. However most of them fade out at the end. Anyone know an easy free program so I can cut off the fading part and make it good looping music?

Try asking in the Sound forum, they are bound to know what to do.

It isn't that easy. It is not like with graphics that you can make something loopable. Some progs have options, but I bet it is not what your looking for.

Besides let me explain a bit about looping: Basically MIDI's loop, cause they play notes so the reverbs on them don't matter cause it will play the next (first note of the song again) note on time anyways. Now take an mp3 (or wav) and your looking at a recording of notes, so if there is a revern (basically echo) on a note it will sound after it is played. So at the end of the track you would need to keep some space for that reverb to finish or it will sound cut off. And a single note always ends in a little fade out effect. So unless you want to cut off and ruin the track you should either go with midi (wich is not an option) or write music/look up music, that won't mind the little pause.

There is also a trick that you might use, tell the game the music is actually a second shorter. So it will begin replaying the track againa second before it ends. That might work.

Like I said those looping effects aren't much use. The technology behind it is hardly done, but if you want to try it at least try to find the "beat" the music uses, like 4/4, 4/3 etc. Or you will have no luck at all.
