Default [REQUEST] - Light Glow

I need a generic light glow effect that colours terrain around it whatever colour it is.
I will need to modify it and create multiple copies of it, so dont mind if the final rpoduct ends up a bit different.

war3 light creator makes mdl files, did you convert them to mdx before you imported them?

Converting to mdx did the trick, thanks.

Now I have a new problem, despite giving the omnilight a full purple colour, the centre of the light always remains colourless. I need to be flat coloured.

You want an actually visible glow to go with the omni light? You'll need an additional model for that.

Well, I dont want a actual glow.

What i need is an omnilight that will tint all objects within its range whatever colour it is.
Is that even possible?

Could there be some confusion between Color and AmbientColor? Ambient is for the parts of the object that are facing away from the light source (so traditionally black and 0 intensity), whereas the normal settings are for what is facing the light source.

Or just ramp the intensity up to Stupid? What about AttenuationStart and End?

I experimented with Attenuation start and setting it to 1 seems to remove the bright spot. However I cant seeem to vary the size of the glow, although its probabbly because i havent set attenuation, end to a ridiculous enough number yet,

But its k, its all good now. Thanks all of you.
