i have some issues with this. although i like it a lot, it can look very weird if only a part of a lake/river is seen through fog of war. in this case only single rectangle pieces pop up :(

hard to explain, i will try to add a screenshot as soon i have time.
but anyone which uses this actually ingame will know what i mean.

is there any way to fix this? im using it as doodad and tried show in fog and modifiying the visibility range. didnt help.

How would you go about making it transparent?

It's a freakingly useful model, however, I have 1 question - is the only way to use it as water to put it over real water and then make the global water transparent or we can replace the WCIII water model with this one?

If you want to be able to use it in a playable map where units have naval pathing, then yes. However, this wasn't really meant for playable maps because of issues like the fog of war. The main use for this is in cinematic maps, where pathing doesn't matter so you don't need to place it over already existing water.

By the way, when placing this doodad it is recommended to place it on flat terrain and modify the terrain height afterwards (there's an option to keep doodads at their previous height when modifying terrain), otherwise it's impossible to get the water planes to align perfectly.

Could you make for me a "fool guide", how to use this terrain in map, please?

Bit confused >.<
Is there a way to automatically replace the water using a path or do you have to place the water manually? (Dun wanna do it manually!!!)

Awesome model, but could you make a white version? I'd really like to be able to freely color it, red for example.
