aye, I know how to model in clay, but I only do that at school, where we have a lot of clay. I'm too lazy to go buy a hunk and they don't allow us to take some from school.

Well I tried out this method and I wasnt exactly thrilled with the result. It was very time consuming (took about 45 mins) and the end result wasnt even too well blended. What am I doing wrong? suggestions?

It is not time consuming at all, it's actualy quite fast. As far as I can guess, you are using a small brush. Use big brushes. Small ones are only for very fine detail.

This is my second attempt, but I still cant get it to look as well-blended as the ones in your tutorial. What do I need to do differently? im using a 20% opacity hard-edged brush with 25% spacing as you recommended.

Sir Szythe, could you, if you can, make a video capture of the way you paint this and show it to me? Use something like Camtasia studio for that.

Sir Daminon: I shall make another video to show how to do those kind of things.

Well, I almost never paint anything, so I tried out Adobe Paintshop some more with this tutorial. Well, this pc is too slow to handle Paintshop, plus that I have to translate the tools in dutch, as our Adobe is dutch... So no, it doesn't work for me at all. But neither does smudge
