well, I didn't used wind because I didn't like it. And I know there is no other wind, that's one of the reasons I hate blizzard...

Tap, you need to make yours have more of an epic feeling, stretch the camera clipping(I believe thats what it is off the top of my head) and add more spires behind, or whatever, i think it will be good after that, right now it has a cramped feeling.

Wc3 does need a 'light' wind.

I think it would look awesome if you did what [niro] said, and then made the fog orange/yellow, made it daytime, set the weather to rays of light and made the sky generic .

hmm orange fog? My goal was to avoid using orange fog and yellow sucks with green, but maybe ill change. oh and i'd pleased if some1 could make a skin for rock-chunks that fits barrens more(hmm, i found an ok vertex coloring so it isn't a must anymore=))

Edit: and pa i used generic sky =P

hehe, for Barrens I prefer to use Dalaran Sky, also for Sunken Ruins, but well that's me ^^

dalaran sky is not bad, but i'd use it for orange-barrens. But my main problem now, that's the sky is not high enought, so i'll not be able to do epic screenies

So much Rays of Light! Use small regions scattered around with that weather effect instead. Also, I don't really like how the river rushes are tinted, they seem way too green.

yeah, to much sunlight, and the grassy looks super corny, heh, oh and, put more ground height in some places in village, like elevate a cheiftan hut higher than the rest or something.

Actually, tint the grass darker, or more orangish and it will fit right in. (i think!)

prehaps a small side path leading north from the backside of the base might give the viewer the impression that what he sees is epic.

i don't really get this "epic feeling" thing, but if u want a passage at the north, then shall be it
