Are you using Delphi ? I was going to make VJASS in Delphi I think that when I finish it I could release a conjunction of units and just let this new editor able to use VJASS that would enough to kick the WE's ass for good.

Turns your simple code into something that is complicated enough to work.

It's a precompiler that would use it's own code, derived from different sources and made as simple as possible to use, and then translate it into JASS. Here's the thread

Also add the option under file.

Make new RPG map, so it automaticly imports "my" system

Multiple Objects editing in the editor. I hate to manually rescale all those doodads on by one.

How about non-rectangular regions?

A search function in the trigger window that works.

Proper import data/triggers without overwriting.

Anything that could speed up the object editor.

Imported data shown ala WinMPQ style. An option to show all the files inside the map too.

- Dont solve problems that dont exist.
- Improve the wheel, dont reinvent it.
- Port the wheel if it doesnt exist in your environment.
- Integrate the wheel into your project.
- Make sure you can replace your wooden wheel for a rubber one if someone else invents it.

only things I could really think of that would make things better are

*opening more then 1 map at the same time, so switching back anf forth doesnt take 20 seconds
*mulitple copy/pasteing, so copy and pasting many things from 1 map 2 another doesnt take forever
*anything that would speed it up, in any way
*better JASS editor, such as with JASS Craft
*import exporting w/o overwriting, which then could come back to the multiple copy and pasting

this could really be neat if u stick with it

gl, id help if i could, but i really cant do anything worthwhile IMO

Actually you can do that already, just not from the shell. Just open all your maps directly from WE 'open' command.

well the version on wc3sear.ch is old actually...and i said similar, not same.

anyway back to the topic, i came up with some more ideas:
how about an option similar to weu's enchanter that would implement vexorian's caster system (with his permission to do this, of course)? also you can make some non-jass friendly gui actions that would call the caster system (this would be a lot of work though). and you may even add something like a quick text message on map init "map made using ZWexc, credits to vexorian for his caster system"
you can make some sort of map encrypter that would ask you for a password to open the map. this doesn't sound so useful, but you never know...
and how would it be if you could make some system that would beat the first reason for map protection - the fear from someone renaming your map and claiming it as his own. the idea i came up with would be some system that would first of all make the map work in your editor only (by using your own way of storing unit and trigger data) and then some sort of read-only mode that wouldn't allow the person that opened the map to change anything.

I think we hit the man with enough ideas, we should let him get this done, and then root for more

Not really, I want the ideas before I make the editor not after. A better jass editor it will have and already got. You can open my editor mutiple times. Also I was planning to have some library functions. So you can import CSCache and CasterSystem with pressing a checkbox. But you can stop telling me to do make things work fast. Remember that I'm recreating everything so it will be faster than the WE (hopefully). Loading a map with about 150 triggers of GUI data takes ~700 ms, but this is trigger data only.
