Uhm, forgot to say, that the texture isn't finished yet and when i would have done full detail it would take nearly 1 day to render it so i used the low poly one, and don't forget, there are 4 ships, 1 planet, 1 sun and many particels, that's why so much polys.

the planet being that far could have less polygons. The sun could have just been an omni light with lens flare. You remind me of a pal of mine who used to subdivide anything 5 or 6 times (and hen asked me why the hell was his computer restarting...).
