Well If I remember right there wasn't 8 gates in the movie. I might be wrong though.

Well, from the refferance pic I used I can't really tell, but there are 8 pathways, so I figured there were 8 gates aswell.

Isengard is a fortress and it only has 1 gate.
If they show it otherwise in the movie....well then its wrong.

Now that I think about it, it might have had two gates. You must forgive me, I don't have the books with me at the moment.
