Authors: Cookie Vashard Blizzard Source : http://www.wc3campaigns.com Date : 01/15/2005 Download Type : New Model Textures path : MatriachGold.blp Portrait/model path: N/A Version: 1.01 Added portrait and portrait talk animation, tweaks regarding stand ready animation. Comments: The Matriach of the driders. I wanted to use the drider from garfield and Co, but they were not optimised for online play and their animations/meshfinalisation is about average (still great work and concept idea), so I decided to recreate a new one. It has been a while since I've churned a wc3 model out so no portrait file. You have to be content with just a camera in the model file. Optimised as far as I know what could be done, if there are flaws just comment it. Total space is 160kb uncompressed (which means in a w3x or w3m it would add 90 or 80kb to the map total size). As usual, you have to tweak with aimation speed settings like attack/cast/walk speed in order to sync the anims with their behaviours. How to use: Just direct the model path to this model and its done. No need to add a portrait animation as there is simply none (merged into the model itself). Just use Import Manager in TFT and import in the map (remember the import model bug, you need to save and reload map in order to see the model). The paths for the skin and model are above. Just import, doubleclick on the file and alter the path to the above ones. Thats all folks! Notes: If you find any bugs or problems or glitches of the model please report this. We will work on it as soon as possible to bring a updated version out. * = Wildcard. That means that all textures should use that path. If you wish to use this model in a campaign or mod, please ask permission first. Do not post this on any site except www.wc3campaigns.com or www.wc3sear.ch. Credits: Blizzard Entertainment, Discreet (3d studio max), Garfield and Co. Regarding portions of the skin and concept idea (though most had the same idea from the beginning =P), Fadi Mounir, all the lads at wc3c before summer 2004.. Oh and me of course, but that is actually in authors spot ========================================================= -== http://www.wc3campaigns.com ==- |

I've read it, but i didn't understand the dope-sheet part. Oh, and in some cases the model's animations screw when u put all animations in one, if the death animation isn't followed by the decay flesh(i'm not sure, but when i rearranged the animations, and then set them into one it worked, unlike when i followed the tutorial "word-by-word")

Hey Cookie, thats not a model I've seen before. When did you release it the first time? Good work though, has your skill improved at all since then?

So, how's your latest crazy project coming along? I hope better progress than trying to hook a horse up to hippogryph bones to try and have a pegasus |
