Those aren't bad to start with, but unfortunately there's more to a Hero model than Hero Glow. There's a certain 'oomph', a level of detail and precision not found in unit models scaled up. Also, GLOW ON THE WEAPONS! :P

I think INT heroes should have hero glow, but not STR or AGI.
__________________Seriously people noone gives a fuck, lets get through the hero idea stage, and with some undivine help in a year or two we might even have some hero prototypes implemented. |

why dont use few base wc3 ability, tauron with bash, shockwave look cool, also could add impale and something ultimate aoe bash on ground
archer with volley kinda of spell (non barage based multishot), penetration arrow what going foward for long range and hurt everybody on way also cool, lets add buff too ofc, lets say critical strike increase by 20% in last 10sec but mov speed decrease by 50% with 30 sec cooldown, maybe ultimate arrow could be a arrow what blow up at target point and damageing+reduce 15% max hp from enemies in aoe range mage can get blink, blizard, projectile slowdown channeling (if u use projectile system for normal arrows what archers fire out like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phKhzxjLw_c) warrior trown weapon to target and stun him, jump to target location, knockback everybody exclude ur spell target unit and stun ur target, omnislash kinda of ultimate[just target is fixed but similiar hip-hop vlink attack style with special effect], battle cry so reduce enemies armor/damage in aoe range assassin berserk,spining with blades (maybe this fit more to warrior) - like orc blademaster,life steal,slow or mirror image mage2m create a ward, and if u use 2nd time the ability then make a firewall between the ward and last ability target location and who pass on that will hurt, summon 5 totem or something and create a magic field between totems where the entering enemy units got reduced attack speed and movement speed, flamestrike, meteor (aoe damage meteor falling from sky) beetle, plant something crap into ground and if enemy step on it then make aoe poison dot damage to them and root down to ground the enemies for 1 sec, add buff to a friendly/or self unit for reflect back any damage in last 10 second, summon minibettles and they going to closest enemy and blow up-hurt the enemyies and slowdown Last edited by shadowvzs : 03-08-2013 at 07:51 PM. |

Well, I'm not the best at coding but I can come up with some hero ideas.
You'll probably want to atleast have a tank, a mage, a healer, and an assasin. I was toying with the editor a bit and made this: Very simple but atleast it's something. It's not that hard to make undead themed spells from preexisting ones. Last edited by Balnnazar : 03-09-2013 at 12:29 AM. |

Tank, mage, healer and assasing are classes for AoS games.
__________________This is hero siege, we need: tank, support and dps types. (STR, INT, AGI) Healing heroes have no sense in this game. HP per STR point is set to 10 and HPregen per STR is set to 0.5 which means that all heroes can autoheal in 20 seconds once they move out of combat. Healing is useful only for undead minions they summon, and even then it is too much bother to cast them manually so a spell like essence of blight is the best candidate. Also I have learned through years that the best way to make a hero is to first write down all ideas on paper and think about how the spells will work and interact with each other and then make it all. Also how good are you with coding? Can you do GUI? Jass? I specifically do not want to work on heroes so other people can contribute. And we are in no hurry to finish this map, if you would like to learn how to make custom spells I am willing to teach you. For starters: can you do a multicast dummy spells? Like for example death-coil that targets multiple units at once? |

I don't know why I said assassin, but tanks are important in these sort of maps: they eat the damage while the more fragile dps heroes stay behind. And ofcourse a healer would keep them alive. Also, if I were you I'd try to work more on the map. Just because the game is half dead doesn't mean you shouldn't try your best. If you can do it, do it. About the coding: I just know trigger basics and a bit more. I never made any "complex" maps, so I never had the need nor motivation to learn it. |

Ok I think we need some focus here:
__________________Here are the first 3 heroes (one for each attribute) that are going to be made. Skeleton King, Necromancer & Burning Archer. For starters we need spell ideas for this undead beauties. Please post spell ideas in this format: Name: Raise Undead Class: Basic (class can be Skill, Basic, Ultimate1, Ultimate2) Target: Corpses (target can be friendly unit, enemy units, enemies in area, wave spell, ...) Description: describe what the spell does. |

Undead Spell Plunder Quest - Victims Needed
__________________I am sure people here have seen a couple of Undead themed maps in their time. Anyone remembers the names of those maps? Links maybe? Even a map with just one super cool undead hero are a great deal. |
