The icons are meant to look like this(lightblue square) They are the icons that represent the heroes X player owned, and the level they had. ![]() Also, it would be great if you could also allow it to make icons like the ones on in the red square. They are the icons thar represent the player's race, it can be changed in the editor. Last edited by Balnnazar : 03-03-2013 at 11:22 PM. |

Player race are not square icons, it would be too much trouble to make them work and there is too little demand for that type of icons.

I made one with the priest's, and it looks like this:
![]() Looks like the icon's size is about right (I think it's slightly smaller that the others, but it could be just the dark bg), since there is no transparency you can see the black area around the icon. Heroscore icons are exactly the same as regular icons, except that they have a transparent area. (in my screenshot it looks more like a renctangle, but it's just my screen's resolution. It has the same size as a normal icon, the black borders make it more clear.) Last edited by Balnnazar : 03-05-2013 at 11:30 AM. |

Can someone find me the BLP1 format specification?
__________________EDIT: nwm I got it. EDIT2: I made it. You would not believe the amount of stuff I had to do to make this work. Reverse engineering the BLP alpha format, recoding quantization neural network to support alpha channel, recoding BLP encoder to support writing different formats depending on alpha. Plus I had a couple of really nasty array manipulation bugs. NOTE: hero score icons are 2x bigger than ability icons because of alpha channel. (This is also true for default wc3 hero score icons, so don't bother whining about it, it is how transparency works in wc3) Last edited by cohadar : 03-06-2013 at 10:30 AM. |

Sorry that it was that complicated, but atleast it'll be of much use to everyone.
And it doesn't matter if it's twice the size, 12 kb are still nothing. Edit: It works just fine. ![]() Last edited by Balnnazar : 03-06-2013 at 10:58 AM. |

I am glad to see it works in game.

In the object editor, heroes have an additional art field for the scorescreen icon, that's where you set it.

No, you can use any icon in a multiboard. Obviously, it'll be scaled down compared to the icons in the command card.

No: You can use any icon in the scoreboard, but they Won't be scaled down. They'll be as big as the black square in the other picture.
I just used a picture of the priest's icon and made a new icon from it, then used it on a hero. The option for scoreboard icon should be bellow the option for the hero's icon. Last edited by Balnnazar : 03-06-2013 at 04:51 PM. |

Hey so I now have access to a mac (sadly, only a mac until I build a new PC).
Can someone give me some icons made with button manager without changing the settings so that I can just double check it does crash. Use whatever icon you like! It would probably be good to do upgrades and hero score screen icons too (if possible). |
