Issue Target Order -> (Your Base Spell Here). eg. if your "custom made spell" is based off of a storm bolt with different values, you still would use storm bolt in the GUI.

Exactly as Fledermaus showed. If you're spell is point type, you use Issue Point Order. If it's an instant cast like Fan of Knives, then "Issue No Target Order" (or something like that), etc.

As I said in my previous post, "Issue Order With No Target" -> Mountain King -> Thunder Clap.

As I said in the other topic, you need to actually start looking for this stuff yourself.
Think: which of these targeting types does Thunder Clap use?
Obviously it's Issue Order With No Target so you go into the ability list for that action. Hmm, it's sorted by the race and name of the casting unit. Thunder Clap is on the Mountain King who is a Human unit. "Human Mountain King - Thunder Clap" that sounds right. And you're done. |

You should never have 2 versions of the same spell on 1 unit at the same time.

ah man. oh well. i was trying to make a trigger that would constantly cause my hero to cast a unit version of thunderclap and then have him also have a thunderclap. but i guess i could use stomp.
