i think i just have to tweak the model a little bit and
maybe change the texture also^^

at first glance it's not that bad at all...
i think the shape could be refined a bit to match the sprite a bit closer and maybe a bit more detail on the skin.

do you plan on a blue particle emitter? if not then the floating rocks (which could still use a bit of love) need some blue around the bottom.

are those susposed to be floating rocks in the orginal sprite? if so i never realised that

it might be hot plasma in the sprite, with materials that need a higher temperature to melt.

I think the sprite has a somewhat mroe oval shape . . . aybe that's just the view . . . and the sprite has more floating rocks then the model. Other then that looks really nice.
