 Hybrid Race Announced!
|
Due to popular demand, the team has decided to add the hybrids as a new race to Project Revolution.
After considering for some time what kind of creature could combine purity of essence and purity of form, we came to the conclusion that there was only one real answer: Chuck Norris, who also adds his very own purity of roundhouse kick.
Here is a spinner of Chuck Norris. It isn't animated because Chuck Norris moves too fast for the human eye. It's not spinning because noone has seen Chuck Norris' back. Ever.
Here are some facts about the new race:
Chuck Norris doesn't mine mineral patches; he just drags the entire things home.
The propulsion method for Guardians has long been a mystery; it has now been ascertained that it is Chuck Norris.
The power of the Xel'Naga temple on Shakuras was a voice recording of Chuck Norris.
Kerrigan is the queen bitch of the universe; the universe is the queen bitch of Chuck Norris.
When Chuck Norris is around, Protoss buildings can fly as well.
You can't upgrade Chuck Norris. He upgrades you.
Spider mines move away from Chuck Norris.
Dark Templar energies can kill a cerebrate. Chuck Norris can make it commit suicide.
Chuck Norris doesn't regenerate health over time; he never gets hurt.
Any attack by Chuck Norris is considered a 'rush'.
Chuck Norris has only one 'annoyed' sound. However, noone has ever lived to report what it is.
Chuck Norris has the fastest APM ever. If he goes any faster the keyboard melts.
With Chuck Norris, Project Revolution becomes 4D.
You can't 5pool Chuck Norris; by then you're already dead.
Chuck Norris knows zerglings. By name. All of them.
Chuck Norris does not appear in the 'diplomacy' menu. Chuck Norris needs no one.
If you want to know where Chuck Norris is, check the AI pinging for help on the minimap.
Chuck Norris is perfectly balanced. He dares you to say otherwise.

But seriously I think this announcement is great and I can't wait to play the new fourth Chuck Norric race. As always, PR knows just what the SC audience wants!

Why do you have such a problem with this? How would this negatively effect this mod's reputation in any way? I believe Blizzard made April fools jokes. Look at Gamespot who is even announcing World of Starcraft to fool everyone. Does this mean they are not meant to be taken seriously anymore? I really do not see the point your trying to get across. Many internet sites post a joke on April fools. Including Staredit.net, with their main admin claiming he has had enough and is leaving. I fail to see how this would give anyone the impression this is a mod not to be taken seriously. Its April the first for crying out loud.
