In case anyone wonders why Lumosa won't reply to this:
He's been suspended for 14 days, because he thinks he's smart and cool, and I think he isn't.

Now that's not nice, I was only suspended for 7 days because of thinking I'm nice and cool and not actually being nice and cool.
Well, it happened about four times, so I guess it sums up to 28 days, but still... that's just wrong :\
Even more wrong is that you publicly post about suspending a member. It's quite offensive, you know. I wouldn't want people laughting behing my back if I even get suspended...

Example: Would you like it if you where head of a website and got made fun of or joked about (etc.)? what would you do to someone acting imature, keep letting them be stupid?

Was he suspended for this particular thread or a multitude of reasons?

Well, if you can cast sleep on them on WoW, I doubt they don't sleep. If you can't cast it however, then they probably just stand idle for hours on end to gain back restlessness.

I suggest you start up the World Editor, check out the CanUnitSleep native and use it on an undead unit -> hop back to the forums and show your results.

Hm... would I?
Well, in case you didn't know, I am the creator and the head admin of a forum with over 3000 members;
For many times already I've encountered members who've done things that were clearly against the rules I wrote, offensive stuff, etc -
For example, once, some crazy person registered at my forum and flooded a whole forum section with hardcore porn pictures. After cleaning it up, I banned the user, but didn't post anything about him in the forum.
In another case, someone was trolling many forum boards. He also posted all kinds of posts containing what some would call "smart flaming" - I believe you know what I mean.
I sent him a warning, asking him nicely to stop doing it, or I'll have to take action.
He replied by posting a thread with an animation, showing the PM I sent him, and than the sentence: "Oh ya? you can draw in my Balls!". I banned him, and deleted all comments from other people; Didn't post my opinion about the matter.
Recently, a member was spamming and trolling on the forums. Other members started flaming him for what he did. I told them to stop doing it, and told him (thru PM) to stop doing what he did.
After some flaming and ignorance from his side, I banned him. He had dynamic IP, though, so he kept coming back for a few days - being re-banned every time.
One more member once made a thread saying I'm retarded, stupid, [insert list of swearing] etc. Some members replied to the thread with things like "woah you're really asking to be banned, can't wait to see what the admin is gonna do to you!".
All I did was locking the thread and asking that member to behave nicely.
He told me I draw in, I replied with 'watch your mouth', he said [insert some swearing] and got banned.
I treat human scum just like normal people, and try to get the best of everyone, even if there isn't a lot of it. So don't you ask me what I'd do when I "got made fun of or joked about", I will ask the one who does it to stop and explain to him why it's wrong, not ban him and than make fun of him.
But I guess that, for other people, "because he thinks he's smart and cool, and I think he isn't." is a good reason to ban a member... well, everyone and their opinion. :\

It's quite problematic if you take WoW as an example, because you can cast sleep on undead players, but not on undead mobs...
However, D&Dwise, undead never have to rest, so I'd say they don't have to sleep.

I deleted the reason why I suspended him already, and I don't think there's anything wrong in letting people know someone will be gone for a while.

Lumosa made a rather inexcusable remark in a now deleted post and it's only deserved that he is banned. Please don't make a fuss about it.

In Warcraft III, player-controlled Undead don't sleep, and Undead creeps don't sleep (eg Undead Orcs). Sure a Dreadlord can cast Sleep on Undead units but it is artificial and forced and therefore does not imply that Undead need to sleep.

Undead retire to their coffins before dawn. Everyone knows that.

Its vampires, not undead. And vampires are not always the same thing as undead: depends in which universe (which game/novel/...) they are.
