The UED didn't want to destroy... they wanted to control. They still had like a hundred ships left when they tried to return to Earth... it was probably alot like Battlestar Galactica. Too bad none of them made it. Kerrigan is such a bitch. Oh well, at least the UED is done with for a good long time.
