Alright. We've all seen how Blizzard has screwed up the Lings with Wings. We've all seen the bulbous Banglings. But this is an affront to the Zerg. It looks like something ripped out of World of WarCrap.
Shoot. Links not working and I GTG. Just check out SCLegacy.

It has 4 arms, which is an interesting twist. The jagged carpance on the arms and legs is also nice.
I don't like the horn on the head, or the wierd extensions on the head shield.
I can't wait to see it better.

"I'm going to kill someone."
*Holds up Dustin Browder's spinal cord.
Too late.

I agree with the four blades, but some aspects of the Carapace look weird.
"I don't like the horn on the head, or the weird extensions on the head shield."
Like that.
"I can't wait to see it better."
You mean with less painful team colors and no crest?

Lol
Yeah the team colors are an annoying distraction. The older version was much more natural, then agian, we couldn't see it very clearly. lol
I would love to see an alternate version with the thick horns on the carpace....
Then agian I like the Ghost version too. I based my ultralisk off of it and the version 2 is a cleaned up version with markings. I will use it in Beachhead when I get to the ground stuff.

I like the new ultralisk. It looks a crustacean alien. I agree that it has too much team color, but this is something they have said they would fix hundreds of times. So chill out about the team color remarks.
Starcraft Ghost ultralisk was awesome too. If you guys can't handle change, stop breathing.

I am also of 2 minds on the ultralisk. I like the Ghost version because it showed something other then a scaley reptile for the zerg, a little bio-diversity I guess you could call it.
Then agian, the new sc2 version is starting to grow on me. I can just imagine those 4 sycthes bear hugging a thor....lol

You think we're complaining because of change? Stop breathing yourself.
The original Ultralisk was imposing, deadly. The SC: Ghost version was a giant centaur. Very frightening...
I am for change... so long as it is superior to the original. I don't see the point of another StarCraft game... unless it has the same feel as the original.

It's not dark evil and frightening. I.e. it wouldn't fit well in a horror movie. It would fit well in WoW though. It would also make a good nemesis for a super hero from a comic book. That's what I'm talking about.

Uhhh... Starcraft isn't a horror movie either. And the Ultralisk looks NOTHING like a villain in a superhero comic, it looks more like an experiment gone bad, which can be said for all of zerg.

Except it looks like a comic book experiment gone bad. In any event the SC universe is far more grim, dark, and evil then that ultralisk. That was my point. I was exaggerating about the horror movie, though not about the comic book.

Nahhh. It's fine, it suits the Starcraft Universe quite well, and Starcraft 2 isn't as grim, gritty, and dark as it's predecessor, if you haven't notice, and I don't think the team has any plans on making it any darker.

That's my main problem with it.
