Ok, decided to take a break from animating to do a little modeling.
Here is my defiler 2.0, hot off Inspire. Untextured of course.
I am debating redoing the drone as well. I hadn't planned on seeing it up close though, just distant shots...

I don't think defilers appear in any SC cinematic, maybe they don't want to be seen for more than 2 seconds

1 polycount is to high for the wc3 game engine
2 they are done with pr
3 they cant get the bugs out of the zerg and protoss
4 I will use any reference and a healthy dose of imagination when making a model, they require exact starcraft 1 models with matching skin.
5 most if not all of the modeling for each of the 3 races is done. all they need to do is fill in the library of doodads, critters, and etc
Shrug I will just keep plugging away.
Oh! does anyone know why I am getting spammed for posts here?? I got one asking for permission to advertise here in the forums! AOL drop kicked it into the spam folder and I left it there. Wierd though.

Gotta finish this one first. I have over a dozen movie scripts, storyboards and concepts, even ideas for TV series and 24 books. But I can only work on 1 thing at a time if I want to get any done. lol

I went that route with the first version lol. This time I gave it the thin things like the concept art.

LOL wouldn't surprise me. My own websites are dead, so I decided to post here since starcraft stuff is here. I tried starcraft.org, but it is to hard to post stuff and get feedback.
Tried the blizzard fan art and it keeps crashing when I submit something. wierd.
