When do you think this map is done dewd?

Awesome, another Pandaren mapmaker.

skopetski 04-29-2008 01:47 PM

updates plz?

MoCo 05-12-2008 09:19 PM

I haven't touched this (and overall wc3 editing) since a long time since I had and still have a large lack of time and motivation.

Anyway I think I'll resume working on this map but I'll change some things. Most of the system basics are finished but it's just too much work to create it the way I originally had in mind with all the quests, story things etc.

But I'm thinking about some changes in the basic concept that will increase chances it ever gets finished.

So I think I'll try to make the map smaller and more fast paced with lot's of defensive elements. So the basic plot and gameplay will focus on defense of the pandaren village against different enemies and waves. But it will still feature RPG elements and you are still able to discover some of the area around the village with some small quests.

Well, let's see what happens.. ;)

you go man!

Hey again!
After a very long break of wc3 mapping I've decided to finish this project (and this time I'm serious about it)!

I've updated the first/main thread. All infos are to be found there.

Keep checking back for Pandaria! :panda:

skopetski 03-25-2010 04:31 PM

Hahah, that's excellent! I've only waited for like 18months (You better be serious this time!) =) I will now continue to lurk this thread once again!

*edit* anything new to show us since the revival of the project?

skopetski 01-07-2011 01:29 PM

I think that it's safe to draw to the conclusion that the project is dead once again!

MoCo 07-15-2011 11:56 AM

Don't give it up yet. It will take some more time, but it will be finished. However, I could use some help in playtesting soon.

skopetski 07-27-2015 09:29 AM

I still have faith in you MoCo! ;)

iNfraNe 07-28-2015 08:23 AM

Ha. What a great piece of history this thread is. Let's see if moco gets around to reading this :)

skopetski 06-10-2016 08:26 AM

Since I will be away on vacation for the one year anniversary of my last post I'll write this one a bit prematurely.

I'm not giving up on you MoCo! :emote_dance:

You probably thought that I forgot about this, I have not.

It is still my dream that one day I will be playing this map!

Give me some time to finish dwarven monster slayers standalone, then Shadow over Blackwood, and then.. maybe this one. In case that it will ever be finished, it will be awesome, I promise! ;)

Wait.. first post dates to 2008... wtf? These 10 years have gone fast..

Hahaha! I knew you would be back! This is great news indeed!

And best of luck with dwarven monsterslayers, I'm really looking forward with trying out the standalone game!
